  • Your phone number is used exclusively to send you daily subscription spending summaries via Twilio SMS service
  • SMS messages are sent only if you have explicitly consented by checking the consent checkbox in the application settings
  • You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by unchecking the consent box and saving settings

Data Processing

  • Subscription costs are normalized to monthly amounts for calculation purposes
  • Daily and monthly spending totals are calculated locally on your device
  • Budget remaining calculations are performed locally

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

  • All data is stored in a SQLite database file on your local computer
  • The database file is located in the subscription_tracker directory where you installed the application
  • No data is transmitted over the internet except for SMS messages sent through Twilio

Security Measures

  • Your data remains on your local machine and is not accessible to us or any third parties (except Twilio for SMS delivery)

SMS Consent

  • To opt out, simply uncheck the consent checkbox in Settings and click “Save Settings”
  • Opting out will prevent all future SMS messages from being sent
  • You can opt back in at any time by checking the consent box again

Data Deletion

  • You can delete individual subscriptions through the application interface
  • To delete all data, you can delete the subscriptions.db file from your computer
  • Deleting the database file will remove all subscriptions, settings, and consent information

Data Retention

  • Your data is retained locally on your computer for as long as you use the application
  • If you uninstall the application, you may manually delete the subscriptions.db file to remove all data
  • We do not retain any copies of your data after you delete it

Children’s Privacy

Subscription Tracker is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us to have that information removed.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
